Global Management Distribution Corp. was formed in 1999 by George Donaldson. The founder has over 25 years experience in international shipping operations and logistics. Prior to the establishment of the firm, George held Executive and Senior Management positions with several shipping companies including United States Lines, Crowley American Transport, Tropical Shipping and Sea Star Line.

The Navigator Shipping and Transam Line names were added to the group in 2003 and together with Global Management are licensed with the Federal Maritime Commission FMC 16154NF and bonded as required.
